STEM Nola's Private Screening of Hidden Figures

STEM Nola & Congressman Cedric Richmond will be hosting a private screening of Hidden Figures, a film highlighting the 3 African American women who helped NASA win the space race by providing mathematical computations for the launch John Glenn and his fellow astronauts into space. We are excited that Katherine Sanders, granddaughter of Katherine Johnson (one of the 3 women depicted in the film), is our Guest of honor. We will be engaging over 70 STEM NOLA students with some of the cities most prominent Leaders, Judges, Entrepreneurs, Politicians & STEM figures at the AMC theatre in Harrahan.

Through this event, which was planned and hosted by me, I was able to raise over $20,000 for STEM NOLA.
